2010 CMS SUMMER MEETING
University of New Brunswick
June 4-6 2010
Special Session on

SPECTRAL METHODS IN THE ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
Organizers: Almut Burchard and Marina Chugunova
(University of Toronto)

We would like to bring together analysts and numerical analysts working on ODE and PDE with specialists in operator theory. Topics of interest include various applications of spectral analysis to stability problems in PDE, and the spectral properties of non self-adjoint or higher order differential operators.

Some funding will be available to support graduate students.

UNB is among the oldest public universities in North America and the oldest English-language university in Canada. UNB’s Fredericton campus, located in New Brunswick’s capital, was established in 1785.

Please let us know by e-mail, if you are interested to participate and would like to receive announcements.
