Abstract:
In this talk I will describe the Yoccoz's renormalization construction for germs with irrationally indifferent fixed point at the origin. Siegel and Brjuno proved that any germ f(z)=a_1z+a_2z^2+... with a_1 a Brjuno number is linearizable at the origin. Using the renormalization idea I will sketch a proof of the Yoccoz's lower bound for the radius of the corresponding Siegel disk.
