I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the department of mathematics of the University of Toronto. My work is in the area of low dimensional geometry and topology and in particular on Riemann surfaces, hyperbolic geometry, and Teichmüller and moduli spaces. Some of my work is related to the study of systoles on surfaces.

Fragments from the past:

Before coming to Canada, I was at the EPFL, the University of Geneva and a Swiss National Science Foundation postdoc in Madrid.

In November 2008 I travelled to the US and in particular I visited Brown University and the University of Michigan. I was a general member of the MSRI program Teichmüller theory and Kleinian groups and visited MSRI in November 2007.

In 2008/2009 (EPFL), I co-organized the Geometry and Ergodic Theory Seminar with Nicolas Monod. In 2007/2008, I organized the Geometry Seminar and in spring 2007 (Geneva) I co-organized a seminar on Teichmüller space, the curve complex, and related topics with Florent Balacheff.
