We had 62 Scrabblers from all over the South at Lafayette this past weekend. I am posting the complete results of the top division and the top 3 in all the other divisions.

One sad note from the tourney, Danny Gatlin, director of the Jackson, MS club, was hurt in an automobile accident on Sunday morning. The paramedics treated him in the ambulance and released him to his room at the hotel. I don't know the exact extent of his injuries. We hope that Danny is feeling better and has recovered. Reports were sketchy as to exactly what happened, but there was major damage to Danny's car. Needless to say, he was not able to play in the Sunday games. We all hope Danny will recover quickly.
