Stephen Hawking's visit to the University of Toronto

On April 26 and 27, Prof. Stephen Hawking of Cambridge University gave two lectures at the University of Toronto. On April 26, he gave a lecture entitled "Inflation: An Open and Shut Case" at the Medical Sciences building for a graduate-level audience. On April 27, Prof. Hawking gave a general audience lecture at Convocation Hall entitled "The Theory of Everything", which was organized by the Global Knowledge Foundation (a newly created student group at the University of Toronto) with sponsorship from the British High Commission, Discovery Channel Canada, and the University of Toronto -- including the Departments of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics.
