University of Toronto PDE/Applied Math/Analysis Seminar Friday March 10, 12:10-1pm Location TBA SPEAKER: Svetlana Roudenko (Arizona State University) TITLE: Blow up behavior in the L^2-critical and an H^{1/2}-critical nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLS). ABSTRACT: First I will consider the cubic NLS in 2D and discuss the dependence of the window of mass concentration upon the lower bound of the space-time norm growth. Secondly, I will discuss the blow up phenomenon in the H^{1/2}-critical NLS in 3D, in particular, L^3-norm concentration. This is a joint work with J.
