TITLE:	  Hypoelliptic equations, Connes' noncommutative geometry and Fefferman's program 

ABSTRACT: In this talk I will try to give a (non-technical) survey on  
	  how using (hypoelliptic) pseudofferential techniques in a 
	  variety of contexts, including  noncommutative geometry, 
	  spectral theory of Hormander operators and more general 
	  hypoelliptic operators, a new heat kernel of the Atiyah-Singer 
	  index formula and Fefferman's program.
