The course letter grade will be calculated as follows

Homework assignments will be posted every Friday after the lecture. They will be due the following Friday at the lecture.
Extra credit homework assignments can also be submitted by email to me at vtk@math.toronto.edu with the subject MAT257 Extra Credit Homework.
NO late homework will be accepted.
Extra credit can be earned by submitting solutions to extra credit homework problems and by spotting mistakes during lectures.
Important: There will be no make up midterms! If you have a valid reason to miss the term test, the corresponding portion of the Final exam will count as your term test grade.

Announcements

Final exam review will take place on Monday, April 18, 3-5pm in BA 1200.
The Final will cover all the material covered in the course. That includes everything covered in Lectures, Homeworks and the following sections from the book: §3, 5-20, 23, 24, 26-37.
